Notepad++ on Ubuntu

Hi guys. I've got a little problem here. I'm trying to get Notepad++ running on Ubuntu 13.04 with Wine. But every time I start Notepad++ I just get errors. Other proramms are starting. Only Notepad++ doesn't work. I listed the errors down below.

Then Wine shuts it self down. I don't know if there is a Linux version of Notepad++, but I can't find it.

I also do not want to change my editor. I hope you can help me wih this problem. If something is still unclear... fell free to ask

Thanks. Now it's working. I've updated wine to ver. 1.6 and reinstalled Notepad++. Again ab uge thank you.

Learn VI or VIM which ever way you want to call it, learn it and you'll wonder what a waste every other editor is, your brain will explode. Sure it has a learning curve but its well worth it!

 

Also, which other Editor has its own mug! Now you know its something different (yea they also made an emacs mug but it was long after):
