Water Cooling Loop Help.

Hey guys,

 

Im about to build a new computer with the asus rog maximus formula viii. I got the corsair d750 case. I want to run one rez and pump combo. to run gtx980 ti fullwaterblock, CPU water block and the little mother board liquid cooling option ek put in the mother board. I wanna go with one 360 and one 240 rad`s. Going to go with clear flex tubing and use red pastel ek color. Here is what i got, do you think any thing is missing do i need to get something for this to properly work?

Also going to get noctua fans for the rads.

That looks good I would recommend to go with the thick walled tubing, 3/8"ID 5/8"OD, since it doesn't kink easily compared to the thin walled stuff. Just make sure you have two fittings per component.

Thanks! Im going to make up a diagram of the loop and rad set up to post on here to get your guys thoughts on the setup.

i would not cross over tubing, going from the pump to bottom rad then up to the GPU and CPU would give a slightly cleaner tubing run. Loop order doesn't matter as long as the pump is below and right after the res.

This is probably what I'd do.

 

As W-L stated, loop order doesn't matter. Enough flow and you'll hardly be warming the water between components.

 

Try to avoid crossing the lines. 

 

I suppose you could exactly reverse the layout I penned, too. /shrug

Unless you run 90 degree fittings on the top rad, you're not going to get the lines to head forward enough.
