So i want to upgrade my monitor and i think that the specs that i write in the title of the topic (1440p 27" IPS G sync) is the ones i want :)

I have a 1000 € budget, but i prefer to not spend it all.

I found rhis one Acer Predator XB270HU for about 700€ish, is a good choice or you can recomend me one better?

G sync makes frame drops less noticable? (I mean, with a 1440p non g sync i should play at high, but can i play ultra with a g sync one?)

Thanks LTT =)

id go for the xb271hu since it looks like the quality of the panel and acers qc has improve with this unit. altough i didnt had any problems with my xb270hu back when it was released. my asus rog pg279q was fine too.

for gsync there are many videos and threads already on how it works and what it does. just google it or even better try it in a local store if you can.

G Sync reduces visible tearing and stuttering, it doesn't make FPS drops less noticeable.

The xb271hu is 880€ and the pg279q is 860€ is it worth it the 180 - 160 € difference?

thats relative. id pay it, others might not.

i didnt like the glossy finish of the xb270hu, others liked it.

the build quality of the pg279q is way better than the xb270hu and so is the xb271hu.

its your choice after all.

My personal opinion is Asus4lyfe, but its all down to what you want to choose because both monitors have pretty much the same specs.
