Title says it all. Mine is hot to touch but not so hot i have to take my hand off. What is the max temp? Gigabyte Z77X D3H is the motherboard. Painted the heatsinks so i knew it would run slightly hotter

GZ on painting the board. Have pics anywhere? 

 

 

Don't worry about it too much, it'll throttle if it gets too hot. ...Which it shouldn't get too hot. ...Cuz it'll throttle.

To add more... I did look for this one time in the datasheets. Only found info on mobile which said something like 107c was the TjMax. 

 

afaik, the highest you want to see your z77 chipset temp is about 60-70c. burn your fingers right off and still function correctly

I will add pics at some point. Currently after gaming it is hot too touch but not so hot that i flinch or anything so i don't know
