is it the ideal setup

Guest

After much searching and help from the form i have found this.

I might as well call it

FINALATOR, or something that accomplishes complicated stuff(S.T.A.C.S.)

Alrighty lets go to the computer first

Rocking a

Intel Core i7-4790K  Quad-Core CPU

ASUS Z97-E/USB3.1 Mobo

CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 16GB

Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 2.5" 240GB SSD

(Above is all parts combined from newegg part congifg costing 586.99USD)

EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply EVGA GeForce GTX 980 04G-P4-2983-KR (other choices are 970, or R9 Saphire 390x, which draws alot of power i dont like that.

NZXT Source 210 (S210-001) case

That is the computer a side now the other stuff.

Monitor is OK, a ASUS VE278H 27" Monitor. I know that the graphics is overkill for this display, that is for two reasons

1) lasts for the future

2) I intend on putting a dual setup or triple maybe in the future, so i probably wont have to buy another card.

Mic is a Rode NT-USB, for recording

Webcam( very optional ) Logitech c920

I was blessed by this keyboard/mice combo, the CM Storm Devastator bundle

Headset inst great because I plan on using it for audio only, so I will chose the G230 instead of the great G633 from logitech.

Mousepad I have so as a desk

What is for?

Good Question, it is supposed to be for gaming (bit hardcore) and for editing (because i have adobe cloud) and streaming

for not one but maybe three channels on YouTube (my friends)

Where is hard drive?

I have two laying around.

anything else you want maybe please feel free to say anything.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

980 vs Radeon R9 Nano

NANO wins

970 vs 390/390X

390X WINS

Nvidia is better if you are rendering or workstation

(Disclaimer: I also have a GTX 760 in another computer of mine, this R7 370 was $50 cheaper than the GTX 950)

Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Turbo 3.5GHz | 8GB Kingston DDR3-1333 | MSI Radeon R7 370 OC to 1020mhz | EVGA Supernova NEX B1 750W | GIGABYTE GA-B85-D3H | Inwin Velocity OEM Case | 120mm broken fan

My advice:

 - Get a better SSD (Check if the Samsung Evo fits your budget).

 - Get a better PSU (Don't have a recommendation for this).

 - Avoid using multiple font styles, sizes, and colors.

CPU: Intel i5-4590 | Motherboard: Asus H97M-E | GPU: Sapphire Nitro R9 390 | RAM: 2x4Gb Kingston HyperX Fury Black | SSD: Sandisk Plus 240Gb HDD: Seagate 250Gb  | PSU: Seasonic G650 80+ Gold | Case: NZXT S340

I am who I am.

Basicly PSU is bad (forgot about that), SSD (use a V300 so I forgot since I got a Taiwanese made one, you have a chance of getting a crap Chinese one) and 980 only for CUDE (workstation use)

Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Turbo 3.5GHz | 8GB Kingston DDR3-1333 | MSI Radeon R7 370 OC to 1020mhz | EVGA Supernova NEX B1 750W | GIGABYTE GA-B85-D3H | Inwin Velocity OEM Case | 120mm broken fan

V300 is a bad nono sad. The nex is avg. and you can get better for the price. I recommend something from seasonic or xfx, and the nano out performs the 980, but if you need cuda, the 980 has that and not the nano.
