So I got the Corsair Vengeance Pro Gold  2x8gb 2400mhz ram with the following specs:

Density: 16GB (2x8GB)

Speed: 2400MHz

Tested Latency: 10-12-12-31

Voltage: 1.65V

Now I want to do an underclock since I need that headroom for CPU overclock. Can anyone guide me how to underclock it so I can do 1.5-1.55V at 1866mhz and tighten the timings maybe?

I have seen people saying that using 2400mhz xmp profile on ram and overclocking cpu to 4.4ghz will put lot of strain on the IMC.

You may have to go into a over clocking tab and click on voltages?

do you think I can damage my pc with ram at 2400mhz and i5 3570k cpu at 4.4ghz, I have my cpu voltage at 1.27volts and its currently stable.
