Looks awesome, but want to point out one thing. I selected the less expensive MSI cards because, if I were able to buy my system over again, I would go for the pro HD listed in my original build.  The reason is that it can read and write up to 4x faster that current SSDs...which is quite a performance upgrade for minimal cost.  However, it will still be blazing fast, could always upgrade down the road, and this will be an absolutely amazing build.

Looks good

Hey guys I am building a new  PC for gaming and heavy duty video editing, constructive criticism is welcome.

Nice build. I would go with a NZXT Kraken X61 cpu cooler and an 850W psu (likely EVGA 220-g2-0850-XR, SeaSonic X Series SS-850KM3 850W, EVGA 220-P2-0850-X1, or Corsair RM850x).

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I like the build and my budget does have a little flex so I actually might consider going for it. But I am curious why the 2-way SLI and the change of motherboard? I am fairly new to building PC's so I am not well versed in a lot of the best methods or strategies that comes to building.

The MSI MPower MB Is MSI's enthusiast version which will have all the available bells and whistles for that price point.  Always personally had great luck with MSI. SLI because you can, which will allow you to run 2k or 4k monitors at ultra settings for modern games.

You obviously could go a lot cheaper, but absent more specifics, I tried to give you the best possible performance for the money.
