I have a usb cross connection between my usb internet connection stick and my usb printer. I don't like to use it so I got my 2nd printer out. That worked well, until I almost ran out of black ink. I plugged my 1st printer into my computer and immeadiatly, I am kicked from the internet. When the printer is on when booting windows, I may get a blue screen (happened 2 times) and or windows 7 will be slow to boot... about 5 mins of waiting for the welcome screen to show my desktop. When the printer is not connected, I get no internet problems and windows boots in about 1-2 mins, depending on the day.

Can someone walk me through how to fix the cross connection?

Thanks
