Is it worth to try to overclock my Intel I7 4770k with the stock CPU cooler? Risk of breaking cpu. My power supply is a Corsair 850, and I have dual Amd R9 280s in crossfire, so is it worth the risk? I am gonna upgrade cooler soon if overclocking on my stock cooler is too risky.

not risky, but you can't achieve much.  stock cooler dissipates just enough heat to run at stock speeds.  I would recommend a 212 evo or a noctua dh15  those work great and are very queit.
