I've had this issue for..Well Months now actually, when I updated to Windows 10 the drivers for my laptop (HP Envy, and trust me, I know, I shoulda gotten the ROG) I used to be able to tab from games to videos, it would slowdown and stutter every now and then but now it just outright kills the Video drivers, I get a crash report saying Windows 8.1 drivers have crashed but have recovered. I've tried asking Microsoft, Intel, and HP, but none of them have been able to help me, and it;s getting really annoying now.

The Card I have is an Intel 4400, and as of now, I'm to broke to buy a better laptop, so that's not a solution as of yet

Honestly it dosent mean NOTHING, ive always had it and it didn’t do shit. It wont harm you or anything, although in windows you can tinker with intel graphics a bit to solve it i think, but i just lived with it since it really isn’t a big issue, all it means is that its failed and recovered and its fine again. You can either live with it (black screen half a second, stuttering boom its gone) like i did or fuck your intel graphics up. Ive got the exact same graphics as you (intel graphics 4440) so trust me it wont do shit, also the graphics is not a physical thing if your wondering its part of your cpu an iGPU. If you really want to stop it, get some sort of external graphics card
