Hi Guys,

So I was looking at Asus motherboards and I found the Asus x99 Pro USB 3.1 or I can get the Rog V Extreme the only issue is the ROG is a B grade product from here - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/b-grade-asus-rampage-v-extreme-usb-3.1-intel-x99-socket-2011-ddr4-eatx-motherboard-bg-847-as.html has anyone ever bought B grade my budget wont allow for a brand new one.

Any advice

Thanks guys.

my friend has the x99-A motherboard its really good tons of features overall solid I would recommend the X99 Pro but have no experience with the ROG board and it may have missing accessories....

Comparing them online they are pretty much the same so either will do great but I'd go for the X99 Pro to be honest over the B grade ROG.

GPU drivers giving you a hard time? Try this! (DDU)

I found it new for a little extra at Amazon but I have concerns that my gpu wont fit with it's EK backplate on cause the ram slots look close to the PCI-e slot just like the MSI gaming 9 ACK which I had to return because I couldn't get my GPU's in.

now that you mention it the ram slots do seem a little close to the first PCIE slot. hopefully some with the ROG board can say something about that....

EDIT: did a little search seems they are ok...

These DRAM slots use single-sided latches in order to facilitate the first PCIe card, so users should ensure that the memory is firmly installed when building.
