Dammit Cooler Master

Go to solution Solved by byalexandr,

I'll try a custom fan curve in the UEFI, see if that helps.

Edit: That worked, I can still hear it a bit but I'll see if I can get it any lower without it stalling.

Solved my own problems, yay me.

Why is this fan so finicky? I put it in my rig right now since I will be using it in my upcoming 5.5L build, since it pushes a lot more air than the stock Silverstone fan that came with one of my old SG05s. The trouble is, it's loud as f*ck, and when I put it in Silent Mode in the UEFI, the damn thing won't start. If I look in my rig I can see it twitching and trying to start but I suppose there's not enough voltage.

I then put it back to Standard Mode so it will actually start and the damn thing is still super loud even though it's not running at full speed.

What doez I do? I undervolt it too much and it dies, and once it starts going on a normal voltage it's still louder than my i3's stock cooler and my 380 Compact (which are both very quiet).

Is there something I can do to make it start a bit better? I even spin the blades with my finger but it's not enough to keep it going. It's the fan off of a Seidon 120V btw.
