I'm happy with my 2 benq 60hz 16:9 gl2460 monitors but want to stay benq so I was looking at that, I was looking at widescreen so it stays around the same height

I'm not sure. How would I check?

1440p and 4k are high resolution so it requires good CPU and GPU to run games at high settings. People constantly asking would it be enough GPU power for my monitor on the forum, you could check out older posts or ask new one yourself, detailing what is your setup and ask for suggestions for upgrades.

From what I gathered my self from other posts for decent FPS on 1440p you would need at least GTX 970 or something equivalent from AMD, and probably GTX 980 Ti or equivalent AMD for 4k. I believe them statements because I had 4k monitor with GTX 970 and the card is too weak to run max resolution even on normal settings.
