It's weird, the only thing I can bring up about Event ID 56 is related to the NIC of all things. If you haven't already, I'd suggest heading over to MSI's support site and grabbing the latest drivers for your motherboard (that being all of them, but if you just want the LAN driver, you can grab that here). A BIOS update wouldn't go astray, either.

If you bought it as a pre-built then it should have warranty. Can you not return it, get someone from the company come to you, or get their advice from e-mail / phone?

 

It's a good thing to look for outside help, but one of the reasons you pay extra for pre-builts is for the warranty. Seek help from here. but from Canada Computers at the same time.

 

As RuneFox has said, try the Nic (Network interface card) and see what happens.

It's not a race to the bottom.
