So I am building a budget PC and on another forum we talked and  I have decided to build this

I5 2200K

750 Ti

430 CX

Msi h61M-P31/w8 Micro

Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3 1600 Ram

The question is to save money even more Do I try to build a test bench ( like an open air  or just like a metal platform on legs and just screw down all the parts   ( I have access to a large sum of parts and tools ) or do I spend the extra money on fans and get a stock intel case or something?? at my local PC store ( keep in mind this will probably cost 30-50 Dollars and I am fairly strapped for cash right now )

This is going to go into a gaming room were spills of drinks could potentially happen but I could elevate the bench so liquid won't come into contact of the parts     ( also keep in mind that the materials of the test bench wouldn't cost anything because I have tons of spare aluminum already)

Honestly there are atx and mitx cases at my local microcenter that start at 20 bucks. I don't think there is much savings in test bench style.

Ya good point I just did some more research and at my local place some cases are for like 10 bucks so what eves
