trouble connecting to network folder.

I can connect to the windows share network drive from my mac like this:

I got a username a password prompt and enter:

username : myusername

password: mypassword

Now when I try to connect to the same share from windows I get a incorrect credentials error. Here is the info I put in windows:

share address: \\ecfile1.uwaterloo.ca\username

username: myusername

password: my password

I have tried several times and am sure I am putting exactly the same credentials, but it still doesn't work on windows.

A problem that I think it may be is that when I put my username in for windows it says that the domain is myPC, but I have tried entering just a \myusername for no domain, ecfile1.uwaterloo.ca\myusername and folder\myusername and none of these were successful.

Any idea on how to fix this?
