Hey guys,

I'm going for my fourth?fifth? build (lost track) and I need recommendations for a case. What I want is

1) At least ATX

2) Room for 2 dual slot GPUs and at least one additional card (possibly a PCI-E SSD or maybe a USB-Type C card, so basically the third card will be single slot)

3) Preferably a cube case, although if I can't get everything else, I'll go for a traditional tower case

4) Room to mount two hybrid 980 Tis along with a Corsair H100i sorta like the image below

ObmSYYk.jpg

5) Room for two hard drives and an SSD (this won't be hard, just thought I'd mention it)

6) I'd also like recommendations for exactly which 980 Ti Hybrids I should get. I know there are a few, but I want one with decent tubing, enough length to get the radiators in position.

I'm not going to worry about optical drives, if ever I need one I'll just go USB.

In case anyone's wondering, my chosen specs are

Core i7 5820K (six core, 3 point something GHz, can't remember)

16GB DDR4

X99-A Mobo

2x Western Digital Reds in RAID 0, either 2 or 3TB (just games, so I'm not going to worry about a RAID failure)

Either a SATA or M.2 SSD for boot drive not sure which yet

Haven't yet chosen a PSU

2 x 980 Tis in SLI

Thank you!

Fractal Design R5

S340 Doesn't have enough space

It can fit everything listed simultaneously.

The rads wouldn't be in the optimal positions, that would be the only drawback.

Also, Lian Li makes good (although pricey) cube style cases.

That's what I'm worried about. If I was going for air cooled cards, I'd just get any bog-standard tower. I really want hybrids this time around, so I can overclock, and no in case anyone's wondering, a custom water loop is out of the question. I've never done it before, I have no-one I know with the experience to help me and it would add to the cost.

Understandable, I set a budget of like $250 for my first water cooling loop and before it was finished the price had doubled.

How much were you wanting to spend on the case?

Somewhere in the neighbourhood of 200-300 euro. It's alright if I can't get a cube, that's just a mild preference on my part (my last case was the Aerocool Strike X and I really like having my cards horizontal, instead of hanging vertically)

Believe me , it's not that great of a case. Thus the metal is actually quite thin so mounting rads on it is not a good idea

I've owned two s340s with front mounted rads.  The case is literally made to house a front 240mm and it's an extremely high quality case for it's price.  It's understandable that someone wouldn't want to mount a 120mm rad in the top and rear exhaust, and the metal is thin near the exhausts but overall the s340 is a great case(the best in it's respective price range).

Okay thanks guys for all the rec's. I'm going to have to head back to work, so I won't be replying. Just a reminder, I'd also like some rec's for hybrid 980 Tis. I'm not going for any other card (not 980s or Titans, and I'm not going AMD).

Thanks again!
