if i were you i would ave not cheaped out on the gpu if you want to be doing gaming and btw you can get a cheaper copy for windows 10

What is your purpose for this build? The one you are making seems good, but the PSU is overkill. 500W will me more than enough

At that price point I might suggest going with a Pentium, which you can OC to get better single-core performance.

and the psu is such an overkill but i guess its cheap if you put it that way well i would say change that gpu since you might need more vram for the newer games

tho the psu is cheap with the mail and rebate i guess if thats why he took that one so he can upgrade the pc later down the road i guess

Would swap out the SSD with this build. The V300 is very slow for an SSD.

Hey there

 

If the build is used only for gaming at mid and low settings (the games that you listed) it should do the job pretty well.

I would check a few things in order to better optimize the build for this price (apologies as I can't recommend any specific brand or products as an official Western Digital representative):

 

 - I'd check other CPUs for this socket with similar performance and see which one would give you the best performance for its value. There are a number of articles on the internet.

 

 - I'd check which chipsets are compatible with that CPU and then see which of them can give you what you need and go with the least expensive one when deciding on the motherboard. 

 

 - A single 8GB stick might be more cost-friendly and better in terms of upgrade-ability. The performance difference between 1x8GB and 2x4GB shouldn't be noticeable for gaming.

 

- I'd check if the games that you plan on playing run better on a specific manufacturer's GPU or generally a GPU with more memory would be the better choice regardless of the manufacturer and the chip. 

 

- I'd go with a PSU that has far less wattage as you won't need all of those 750W. A good 400W would be more than enough even if you OC the CPU. 

 

- WD Blue is a great drive for such builds so kudos for that. I'd be great if you can fit a SSD for the OS for a more responsive build with much shorter loading and boot times.
