Hi guys,

I'm considering getting the  CableMod WideBeam Magnetic RGB LED Strips since I saw that new linus video and I am just wondering if I should get the 30cm ones or the 60 cm ones? Also should I get 1,2 or 3 strips?

I have the cooler master master case 5 pro and I just want to illuminate my case inside because it is very dark and I want it to work with my asus motherboards Aura.

Thanks guys.

The question is...which length do you want, and how many strips do you want? its personal preference? If you get 3 are you going to use all 3? Do you have somewhere that is 60cm long to put that 60cm strip etc...

Its all up to you man.

I would ask yourself, "do I want my computer to be a night light, or a coast guard search light?" I ended up with the search light by covering 3/4 of the interior perimeter of my case with cheap 12v LED strips. A little can probably go a long way especially if you don't have any voltage control on them.

Usally you would mount them on the right and the top of the case (if your looking at your side window panel). Which means you could also use 60cm strips and it would still work. Once you have the strips just move them around and see what you prefer :)

I would just like a recommendation and what people mostly use in their cases. I just want it to look cool. I was thinking of getting 2 30cm strips. Where should I mount them? Parallel to each other or perpendicular?

Usually two strips works really well as for how you lay them out it depends on how you want the light to layout usually one on the top and bottom work well, but just be sure to not have direct line of sight of the LED's themselves since they are very bright and to not have them up against surfaces which tend to create spot lights or reflect off surfaces.

That'd be great as I use scan and Amazon as my primary retailers! Will have to keep checking back there!

Still waiting for the product to be available on amazon.co.uk as I live in Ireland and pretty much no one ships the LED's there :/ Any insight on a date maybe when they will be up on amazon?
