H100i and 8320e temps too high ?

I just got my 8320e overclocked to 4.2 ghz, the cpu if fine (stability wise) but i'm not sure about my temps, i got 70°C on prime 95 after 10 min run and 65°C on aida64 after 1 hour, what you guys think ? are my temps way too high or it's normal ?

 

btw my vcore is 1.3937, 2 akasa apache on my h100i and my pump is at 2250 rpm

You could remount the cooler but those temps seem okay

Keep Prime temps bellow 75*C and Aida64 bellow 70*C for Stress tests and you should be golden. Theoretically even 75*C is safe but those are my personal preferences :D

That's a personal thing really. But from most guides I have seen including LTT ones, they use 80 degrees as the max temp.

Did everyone see that? Because I will not be doing it again.

8 core FX chips aren't supposed to pass 61-66C on the socket temp... Also @OP the temps are a bit high, my 8120 hits 61C with an H50 on it and a terrible fan with it.

lol. these chips have a max temp of 62c on the cores and 70c on the package temp. they shut down not long after that.

If you want to degrade it and kill it in a year sure if you can get around the whole shutdown at about 70C.

i saw a lot of youtube reviews about the 8350 cpus where they were getting to 5.0/4.8 ghz on an h100i and keep the temps around 65°C with no problem... idk why my temps are so high, i even got better static preassure fans than the original fans the h100i was shipped with ....
