Hey guys, first time poster on the forum and first time setting up a custom watercooling loop. What I'm looking for is a shopping list. I've looked over several guides for how to set these up, but I'm still not that sure about part compatibility. So, I was sort of hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction for what to buy. My current budget is $500, but if that's impossible, I can save more.

My rig has the following

1x Asus Rog Maximus VIII Hero (LGA 1151)

1x Intel Core i7-67000K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0GHz Processor

2x CORSAIR Vengeance 8gb 288-pin DDR4 2400 RAM

1x Samsung 850 Evo 500GB SSD

1x Seagate 2tb Hybrid Drive (ST2000DX001)

2x EVGA GeForce 970's

And I'm sticking all that in what I believe is an In Black In Win Mana-134 case... but I'm not sure as I'm at work and not home right now. All I'm planning on cooling at the moment are the two GPU's and the CPU. I know what types of parts I need (the three water blocks, tubing, reservoir, radiator, pump, ect), but not what parts exactly. I obviously don't want to buy the wrong thing and corrode the heck out of my blocks.

Edit: The $500 dollar budget is for the loop, not the computer itself. I have these parts already.

welcome to the Linus tech Tips forums!

your case selection will not allow you to keep everything internal. if that is your intentions, then consider at minimum a fractal design define s or phanteks enthoo pro m for chassis sizing.

if no voltage overclocking is expected, then a 280x 60 radiator can be used, but realize the fans will be critical for noise and cooling performance

if no-limit overclocking, then a 360 and 240 are minimum to look at. this will yield a low fan speed and cooling expectations.

for $500 budget, you will have all new parts. location?

cpu block - $75

gpu block(s) - $220

rads - $200

total so far = $495

no fans, no tubing, no pump, no fittings, no case.

it'd be best to start with a CPU only loop with the future of adding the GPU(s) later and save up more.
