They are new and untested.  Also, most people were more interested in the X1.

 

I, for one, like to recommend products with long history that I've had a personally good experience with.

Also, the O'Neill The Stretch were terrible.

Agreed. My brother breaks things alot, and seeing these I figured they were designed to live through abuse. He broke the headband within a couple months.
