Starting New Build

Hello Everyone, Names Brandon. Nice to meet you all

 

I've Been pondering the fact of making a new computer for a long time now but i never had the money or the drive to want to make another one. My old build bores me and i want to make something better and go with different hardware.

I've got some things in mind i do want for the build but their are a good majority i am stuck on and am struggling with making decisions on. So If everyone would be so Kind as to post their thoughts on lists of items they feel would be a good build.

 

Alittle More information, My Budget is $2,500, I Already picked out and bought the case a long time ago. The Build will be focused 80% on gaming, other 20% on Video Editing here and their for fun, Not a you-tuber or anything just sometimes like to make stuff for friends in my spare time.

 

Inner Color Scheme i will be going with is purple.

 

Case - Cooler Master Cosmos II (I Creamed a little when i bought this =D)

Motherboard - Suggestions ??

Ram - Suggestions ??

CPU - Suggestions ?? (Haswell I7-5820K (High Contender!)

GPU -  Suggestions?? (My Thoughts GTX 980 Ti)

Power Supply - Suggestions ??

Fans - Suggestions ?? (want better ones)

Fan Controller - Suggestions ?? (Needs to be able to run 10 fans)

SSD  - Suggestions ??

Hard Drive - Suggestions ??

 

Later on i the build I will be going to a custom Water cooling system when i get more money so put that into consideration =P

 

Lastly I have a question for you Modder Guys cause im doing alittle mod myself on this. What kinda of power button do you guys recommend for a replacement for the one on the cooler master cosmos II?? I ripped out the Power Button and the fan Controller cause i hate the look and feel of it. Not my style so i want to put something else in it in the same place. Please post suggestions on how you guys would go about it. Open to really anything

It's great!

I trust ASUS alot and their BIOS is also simply superb.

I would go with what CUDA_Cores suggested except for the storage. I would rather have a WD Green/Blue.

I Loved the EVGA 850 G2 Power Supply Suggestion i would never have looked at that for some reason lol. Def going to be top on my list, also the kingston fury black memory is also a good suggestions. I'll add that to the list of possibility =P

i Agree my other computer has a good majority of the products i bought from asus were amazing just bought lower end compenents
