Trying to decide

Is it better the have the little extra gaming power of the GTX 960m with an led laptop screen or should I go for the GTX 860m with an ips laptop screen but is 70 euro more expensive

So the ips monitor wouldn't be worth it?

You will either lose some performance and gain a better screen or get more performance and get worse screen. I can't make that decision for you.

I know. I'm just trying to figure out would the performance lost be worth it? Everything I could find on the internet said theses gpu where basically the same card

For both they have a i7-4720HQ a 1tb hd and 128ssd. The only difference is the gpu and ips vs led

Well I would consider the 860m laptop over the 960m. The 960m is just a bit faster, so it isn't a big deal compared to getting a TN panel at a higher price.

You can look into the articles I posted if you want to clear up the differences between the two and make your mind up. (Though they seemed to have tested the 960m with a faster CPU so it gets part of its speed bump from that).
