So I am somewhat confused from the instruction on the site as to how this works. I have a fresh USB thumb drive I would like to use as a bootable thumb drive. I don't want to use it on the PC I am using to make the thumb drive a bootable. Do I need to go through the steps of rebooting this PC and selecting the drive, or can i just run the process to complete, take it out, stick it in a different PC, and boot from it then? Or does the process not complete until I restart this PC?

It wont install anything to the internal drive itself, however that being said booting from a thumb drive, you also will notice that depending on how you set it up, you will be restricted in that you either cant install much or have to reinstall extra programs every time

once it says process complete then you're golden

pull out the drive and stick it in another computer and boot from it.
