Hey LinusBeefStrips fans, I want a new keyboard for my PC build that is basically done.

I play CS:GO Alot (3k+ hours) , GTA V,  GMOD, JC2, and probably R6S and many more new games. I want a good mechanical keyboard that has numpad keys so not a tenkeyless board.

Thanks in advance.

Personally, I would look into CM Storm QuickFire TK. It's not a full size, but also not a TKL keyboard.

However, the mechanical keyboard isn't going to make a change for your gameplay. Mechanical keyboards are more for typing, durability and customization. With that being said, a lot of the differences between mechanical keyboards, outside of switches, are superficial.

Essentially, the best anyone can honestly do is recommend brands, because everything about a mechanical keyboard is personal. Look into Corsair, CM Storm and Logitech for the gaming-brand stuff. If that's not your cup of tea, look up Code Keyboard, DAS Keyboards and Ducky.

I own and use, sorted from newest to oldest: SteelSeries 6Gv2. Microsoft SideWinder X4. Mionix Naos 7000. Zowie EC1 Evo. Microsoft SideWinder X8. Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0. Dell U2414H. Samsung P2270H. AKG K273 Pro. Sennheiser HD555. Razer Goliathus Speed Medium. Func 1030 L. Qpad CT Medium.

I used to own: Razer DeathAdder 3G. Razer Krait. IntelliMouse Optical 1.1. SteelSeries QcK.

I recommend the Corsair K70 RGB keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches. I own the K70 and it's very, very good!

PC:

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X | AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE | 32 GB RAM | Arch Linux

Laptop:

MacBook Pro 13" (2019) | Intel Core i5 8279U | 8 GB RAM | macOS

Server:

Intel Core i7 6700K | 16 GB RAM | 2 TB HDD | Debian Linux

I find red switches pointless, you mightaswell use a 5$ membrane keyboard, go for the browns.

I may not like red switches, but I still find that to be an incredibly poor comment to make.

Not to mention, Browns are absolutely a terrible tactile switch.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
