Budget lighting solutions?

I have a youtube channel, and I want to improve my lightning. I'm still studying with little cash, so I need a realllly cheap solution. (now I use 300w outdoor spotlights, which are so hot, I'm afraid it might start a fire xDDD). I have a Logitech c920 btw.

If you know a bit of soldering and are willing to invest some time you can make some nice LED lights for around $25-50.  Google the instructions and guides.

Thx, are these cheap ones ok for using with a webcam? I don't have a dslr

It depends, as you are using a webcam I assume what you are filming is no more than perhaps a couple of ft away from the camera?

 

If so, one or two of those kind of LED lights should be enough.  Don't expect to light up an entire room.
