Best NES emulator for Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

I need a good NES emulator on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

 

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB 

138 is a good number.

afaik any program that says it can emulate nes should have 0 problem doing so. Honestly a potato could probably do it. I personally use Jnes 1.1.1 and it works perfectly. But it does not have a Linux version so either google for linux nes emulator or just run it with Wine.

Honestly the code is so simple it shouldn't give you any problems regardless of which option you pick.
