So i just watched Razer's SDK trailer on their youtube channel (the snake game). is it possible on other keyboard? specifically on ducky shine 5 keyboard that i will get in the coming week. like if you programmed the firmware to add a new profile/mode that would be great and i would like to learn how to do it. maybe you can programmed the RGB lighting to react to music or something like that.i mean ducky really advertise their  ARM M3 MCU quite heavily and i thought its possible. this is just ideas that i have as iam going to learn programming after i have my new keyboard. the hopes is still high on me ( probrably it's going to sink after i understand programming and i know what can you do on programming and what i cannot :P )

I guess its possible. Somebody made a music visualizer on the Corsair K70 from scratch, so I would assume you can do it with the Ducky Shine 5.

All you need to do is get your computer to light up a specific key according to the visualizer I guess.

CPU - i7-4790k | CPU Cooler - NZXT Kraken X53 | Motherboard -  Asus Gyphon Z97 Armour Edition | RAM - Corsair Vengeance (2x8GB) 2400Mhz | Graphics Card - MSI GTX 1070 | Power Supply - Corsair CS750M | Storage - Seagate 1TB HDD | Samsung 500GB 850 Evo | Case - Fractal Design ARC Mini R2 | Colour Theme - Generic Red & Black

Operating System - Windows 10 Pro | Peripherals - Corsair RGB Mechanical K70 Keyboard/Corsair M65 Mouse

Corsair operates through a programming layer through the USB port and you can write your own one through C# to interface with the hardware, so yes writing profiles to work with the Corsair lighting is possible because it was designed that way (for use with CUE).

The corsair will not play active lighting cycling patterns without the software loaded; it can only save a static set light pattern to onboard memory.

For the Ducky shine 5, first you would need to reverse engineer the firmware, which hasn't been done yet.

Once that's completely done, then you would have to recode new lighting effects and then reflash it with a recompiled firmware.

The most you could do is add or change a lighting mode, though, or mess with the macro system.

Custom firmware hacking has already been done on the Pok3r.

It would be *impossible* to download 'custom' lighting profiles for the Ducky.  The ducky was not designed to communicate with software.
