So I have a somwhat old computer(dual core e5200, 8GB RAM, 2x 3TB WD Green and a 30GB SSD as os disk) with Windows 10 and stablebit drivepool that I use as HTPC/NAS. Before I had a separate NAS(with other disks) and the current computer as a HTPC only.

Since a week ago I was running Windows 7 but was getting disk overload in utorrent when downloading large files(30Gb+) so i thought upgrading to Windows 10 might help which it did for a while. Evrything was working fine and I thought I could download large files but when I tried a 60Gb file it stopped at  around 50% with disk overload and eventually crached. Was able to finish the download after a couple of reboots and in the end monotoring the disk activity then stopping the download when activity was 100% and starting it back up when it went down again. I tried different settings in utorrent and also disable and resizing the page file without any luck. Now I can't even download 1Gb files and also I can't even write to the disk when copying files in windows. Disk activity goes up to 100% when I try to write anything to it. The disks are new(only a month old) and when moving them to another computer with stablebit drivepool I can write to them.

Please help I can't seem to figure this out! :(

I'd recommend buying whatever it is you're downloading. Then you can get official support when it isn't working properly. It also keeps the lights on and the table full of food for devs that spent hundreds or thousands of work hours on a project that you're effectively stealing.

You said you're using a very small SSD. Try disabling your Paging File completely and rely on RAM exclusively. Oh, and buy whatever you're downloading.

I missed that in your original post. That's the only thing I can think of that could cause a problem like that.

You've put the drives into another computer and changed operating systems and still have the same problem. I'd guess it's the program itself, or your SSD isn't working properly. Those are the only common factors.
