Recommended Bandwidth?

Hey guys, Tomorrow I am getting Time Warner Cable installed and was wondering what package I should go for?

 

Should I go for 50 Down 5 Up or 30 Down 5 Up? I need the 5 Up since I stream on Twitch and use 3.5 Mbps upload.

 

What I do on the internet:

 

- Play online Games

- Watch Netflix

- Stream Game Play (Usually games like CSGO, H1Z1, and Basically any fast paced games)

- Listen to music on Spotify

 

I will usually be Playing games on stream while playing Music and a family member might watch Netflix while I stream.

 

Would 50 Down be overkill for me?

My dad works for TWC and ill tell you I wish they had TWC Maxx here 50/5 is good but id rather have 300/20 and no 50/5 isnt overkill as long as you can afford it

Yeah 50/5 is the highest I can go unless I pay for Business. But do you think that 30/5 would be good enough for me?

I have 30 / 5 at the moment, but just upgraded only for the new up speed.

 

I do the same as you and get more than enough speed, even when the wife is watching netflix and im playing on the computer updating things.

how many people will be watch video for example? 1-3 1080p or 1 4K = 30/5 4+ 1080p or 2+ 4K = 50/5

also if you download alot of files and games you should get 50/5

Are you signing up for a contract? If not, get the cheaper package and see if it's enough. If not, you can usually upgrade for free and instantly. Just be sure you have a modem that can handle it. Something with atleast 8 downstream channels.
