Network switch suggestions

Go to solution Solved by Jacktastic-Mofo,

Get this one, few bucks more but supports gigabit speeds. I own it and everything off it gets 10MB/s no problem :)

EDIT: 10MB/s = 100Mbp/s which is my internet speed. Between two PC's I get 100+MB/s an example being I just transferred a 1GB file in less than ten seconds.

I want to run both my pc and xbox through ethernet, but I currently have only one ethernet cable running into my room and i cant run another ethernet cable from my modem/router to my room. I did some research and realized what i needed was a simple network switch, but since I game on both my pc and xbox I need to worry about nat and latency being affected on both things, my router already has all the right ports open and everything and I want to make sure the switch won't mess with the current QOS or NAT settings. I'm currently looking at the TP-LINK TL-SF1005D 5-port 10/100Mbps Desktop Switch and the Linksys SE1500 5-port fast ethernet switch and I want to know if these'll do the trick or if you guys have any other suggestions.

Disclaimer: I don't know much about networking and I don't post on here much so if I got anything wrong please feel free to correct me.

I personally own Netgear Prosafe. Maybe overkill but I like them and always got them on sale and good rebates.

Thank you! I'll probably be getting the one you suggested.
