Two GPU questions

Go to solution Solved by Imakuni,

SLI / CF is irrelevant for folding or boinc. It'll always see and use the cards as 2 sepataye gpus, regardless of SLI being on/off

1.) So I'm wondering how folding with SLI works. It is my understanding (Correct me if I'm wrong) that if you have two GPU's not set up in SLI (or crossfire, I don't discriminate SLI is just less typing) then in your client you get two separate processors, GPU 0 and GPU 1, which both contribute X PPD. My question is this: If you hook up those GPU's in SLI, does the client still see them as 0 and 1, or are then then seen as one GPU which gives you > X PPD?

2.) On the statistics page here: http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=osstats2

It says Nvidia GPU in one row and another row is Nvidia Fermi GPU. Is there anything special about the 400 and 500 series reguarding folding or is this just a conversion of TFLOPS, comparable to the conversion of native TFLOPS to         x86 TFLOPS?
