Heatsink Help.

I'm looking at a xigmatek gaia for a heat sink that's relatively cheap and fits a socket 1155 preferably around the $30 to $40 USD range please help. so far the gaia is the best i also am looking at a EVERCOOL TTC-NK35TZ only if it works on 1155

not extreme over clocking and silence isnt to big of a deal but as close to a happy medium on both. just gonna overclock a bit nothing extreme and i dont mind the noise as long as everything is cold.

The CM hyper 212 plus/evo is pretty much the king of that price range. Slap a Scythe GT on it while they are still available and you are good to go.

The Gaia doesn't seem that bad then, 4-pin fan, decent weight. Should be fine with a 1GHz OC and fixed (low) fan speed within the BIOS.

If I was getting an Air Cooler I'd get the biggest and heaviest one I could find, most likely one of those Noctua NH D14's.

But for the 30-40 Dollar range I would be forced to get 212 evo. If you need to save the money, get the Gaia, It'll be a huge improvement over the stock box cooler.

The Gaia is just as good as the 212 EVO juts at a lower price, so thats what id go for.
