Game Recording Drops Below 30fps

Hi Guys, Im not sure which section to post this. Please let me know where i should post for help.

Im trying to record gameplay at 1920x1080 at 30fps, My PC specs are in my profile.

im playing games at 2560x1440 and im using Dxtory.

Any advise would be helpful, im new to recording...

Well if you were playing a fairly intensive game at 1440p I'm not surprised you were getting dips below 30, recording gameplay/streaming is very taxing on the cpu, that's why people tend to recommend i7s to people building streaming game rigs.

i didnt have any problems recording the division beta at 1920x1080 30fps and i was playing that at 3440x1440

Xcom 2 recording came out bad even when i was playing it at 1920x1080 it was 60 fps most of the time,

ill test some other games and keep an eye on cpu load, thanks for the help. gives me somewhere to start...
