Hello,

I'm planning to build a passive computer (with a streacom case) with skylake. My aim here is to get a silent PC that would be 4k capable (display only, no interest in HDCP 2.2 and protection ability), and used for studio audio recording and mixing tasks, so not extremely demanding. No games on this one, I've got my gaming PC already.

For my use I have identified the i5-6600 because of its lower TDP of 65W, but I also have to choose from the currently available motherboards that allows 4096x2304@60Hz display through hdmi 2.0 or DP.

I have found one motherboard that would meet my budget, and it's the Gygabyte Q170-D3H, a board made for business applications as far as I understood. The problem is I find no review on it.

Does anyone have a feedback on this board, whatsoever?

It's all similar to Z170, only not OC capable.
