1440p 144hz gaming system specs?

Any feedback about what kind of build I'd be looking at for 1440p 144hz gaming to get a min. 144 fps on med settings? 6600k/980ti be substantial enough without overclocking?

without overclocking you probably won't be hitting 144 FPS in alot of games; however you'll get a nice 100+- on most triple A titles

Depends on the games you would be playing, but for most games that would probably be enough to hover around the 120-144 fps area
