8800GT Problem

So i connected my Graphics card and installed drivers.....

after few trail and errors i got this thing running. but when i opened my far cry 2 things were not as expected. the game was slower!
here is GPU-Z and CPU-Z of my PC!

 

i have 2GB RAM

400W power supply

Rest is below

HELP!

Why is the GPU clock 0? Do you have all the correct connectors attached, like power and such? 

 

And do you have any error logs?

Put the GPU back to its default clock. That's your problem.

Still using the 8800GT is the problem. :o

 

What kind of FPS do you get? What graphics settings are selected?

Hi, Thats what i was doubtful about!
All the connectors are attached properly.

Check your GPU stats in BIOS and see what the clock speed for the 8800GT is.

If it is not set to 660mHz set it to 660mHz

can i edit things in my bios?

I don't know, the options depend on what mobo/bios you have.

 

You should just try getting into BIOS and restoring all defaults and see if that works.

 

If restoring defaults doesn't correct your GPU's speed, the setting you want to look at is GPU clock frequency, find how your BIOS is recognizing the GPU(what frequencies)

So i did reset my BIOS and no changes! :(

Also i cannot find how my BIOS recognizes the GPU.
Can you tell me what menu would it be under? or something?

Okay! Using OC tool. BAD IDEA! nightmare blue screen of dead came up!
showed some SystemServiceException nvoclk64.sys

Now what to do?
