Help making a strictly Gaming build

Hey whats up guys, well I'm fairly new when it comes to pc building. I would like to build a strictly gaming PC build. Which means this pc would only be used for gaming, I have a Mac for my productivity work. I plan on playing games on 1080p max settings if possible, I don't mind if the build is AMD or Intel. I was planning on going for a all white pc build with these parts.

Of course not sure if this may be a complete over kill, for max settings 1080p gaming. of course I would like to be able to get some more suggestions or what graphics card to get and stuff. Thanks for the advice, in advance

holy hell is that overkill, just go for like an i5 4460 and an r9 390 sheesh

you could get the 212 evo and just paint it, and then you could get cool points saying that you moded it. or just get that cooler....

if your planning on gaming at 1080p that processor is not needed and the graphics card is well beyond what you need, if you were gaming at 1440p or 4K i might say you need it but not for 1080p

If you don't want to upgrade for a good amount of time, that's fine. Otherwise, get an i5 6500 and an R9 390 (on an H170 board) so that you will have the benefits of new Skylake boards.

The fans are to change the ones on the h100i gtx because the are grey (or not if you're not bothered by that).

Thank you guys for your input ! and as well as a build ! My other question would be, what parts to buy 1st or should I save up to buy the whole build in one go.
