This is my build after the parts I just ordered arrive:

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/johnmakuta/saved/hrgG3C

I will be adding more to this build but this is it for at least a few months. I plugged it all into pcpartpicker to show a friend when I realized my 600 watt power supply might have trouble with this thing pushing over 500.

Do I need a larger power supply?

What would you suggest?

I plan on Watercooling very soon so should I just get a 750 watt or do I need more of a 1000 or 1300

depends on if the PSU is any good. What is the full model name?

A 5820 with 770 shouldn't push more than about 400W when overclocked so as long as it's not a total POS, it should be fine.

Why not get a Samsung 950 Pro at that price of SSD, NVME drive for $15 more..

Don't understand that...

I don'T PreSS caPs.. I juST Hit THe keYboARd so HarD iT CriTs :P

I already had the Predator laying around before NVMe was even released. These are all parts I have, not parts I plan on buying.

And and trust me, I'm annoyed as ever that there's an NVMe drive that's cheaper than my PCIe m.2

You should be fine but if you plan on any heavy overclocking I would look into getting a 750 watt or so

I do plan on doing some overclocking in the future. All I know about my current power supply is that it's EVGA, 600 watts, and bronze certified.

Thats a B1 unit, the 500 and others were terrible but the 600 had some upgraded components.. Sufficient I would say, no more than that.

Bit odd to have an x99 build with 32GB ram and so on a $50 PSU... It'll run it but I wouldn't overclock or strain it and I'd look at replacing before an expensive GPU, you can get great quality units for $60 - $90 (EVGA B2, G2, GS, P2 (the 750W P2 is $90 at newegg atm...)

It's because this has been a continually updated build and that's the one part I haven't upgraded in a long time.

Try this, learn, gain knowledge and understand why, not just a suggestion that someone told you :)
