Every websites say remove wgalogon.exe and wgatray.exe or something like that... the problem is, there are no such files yet this dialog box appears at logon, resume from hibernation, and wake from sleep, and also hijacks my wallpaper. Please help. Thanks.

Sounds like you are just trying to get rid of genuine notification because it isn't.

 It is truly genuine. Problem started only today, after I switched of my PC without shutting it down by mistake. I am very much sure that this is just a random notification.

I also tried Microsoft's Fixit, WGA Remover. Both of them don't work!

Sorry guys! Problem solved.

 

I did a simple check in the Scheduled Tasks, and there it was - a folder named "Windows Activation Tool", and inside the folder was a task, that is triggered on startup, waking from sleep, and logon, and starts a program when triggered. I just deleted the task, and its folder. But haven't restarted yet. I shall try that, and update my post tomorrow morning.
