Final stage? Thoughts on my planned build?

Norup

Dear LTT!

After some feedback on LTT and careful consideration, I now have a pretty decent rig planned (or so I think).

It should match my needs and budget while being a 'balanced' rig. My budget is limited to what I need. I have a job so I'll just earn the money and wait to buy, but I don't want anything too overkill. And I would like for the most non-heavy games to run smoothly on an Acer 27" XB270HU. It's not like I play a lot of heavy singleplayer games, but I certainly wouldn't mind being able to play them smoothly too. :-)

I really like the Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV atx in black (and yes, it's bloody expensive) and I would like to go with the ever-so-classy black exterior and red interior. So I'll buy an NZXT HUE+ and some red-sleeved cables along with a red mobo.

As of now the rig is: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rhy8nQ

I have a 1TB USB 3.0 external harddrive, so I was thinking about storing my games on that but what're the pros/cons of storing them on an external storage unit contra an SSD? Maybe a protable SSD for the sake of easy access from another computer?

Thanks in advance! I'll be keeping an eye on this thread and hopefully I can answer questions fast. :-)
