Hey guys! just quick question. Finished building my new rig recently, just wondering if i should put my new PC to stress test. are there any side-effects? what are pros and cons?

Like most things regarding computer parts there is always a risk,
Stress testing will push your PC to its limits unlike most normal usage. Things like voltage, cooling setting, temperature and age of the parts all together will play a part. In a perfect set up (proper voltage, ideal cooling, new parts) its not a bad idea to stress test with proper software to see the max reach of your rig. However bare in mind risk for error and damage is always real and its higher than usual when the system is pushing its limits.
