How do I delete pictures from a Skype conversation?

Kitten of the Broccoli

My friend has a habit of sending pictures to me over Skype that make me feel rather uncomfortable. He said that if it really bothers me, he'll stop, but now I'm stuck with these pictures in the conversation. Is there a way to get rid of them? I'm worried about what my mother would do if she somehow saw them. It's not really an emergency, but they are quite the eye sore.

Jeez, calm down.  Talk like that and you won't get help.

Sorry, I wasn't being hostile. I was more being ironic... I guess. I'm not really sure how to describe the way that last comment sounded in my head.

Has it been over an hour since they have been added?  If so then you can't.

I tried deleting them as soon as they arrived, but it didn't work.

Tools ->Options ->Privacy->Show Advanced Options->Clear History

This should clear all of your conversations. I dont think that there is any way to do it individually

That's really quite stupid if you ask me.

Not saying it is. I must be in asshole-mode because everything that I'm typing is being misconstrued.

Yeah, Microsoft really need to fix Skype.  There are a few things that could be improved.  Not exactly sure but the UI could be easier
