Arma 3 Or Squad?

Why thank you, I'm now leaning towards Squad more than Arma 3.

Arma 3 has a mod and community around a game mode called project reality and its very much like squad. Arma is vastly more capable as a platform for making games and it can do everything squad can do and do so better at this point. However Arma comes with its own issues, some people dislike the controls and most have performance problems. Its also not exclusively PvP multiplayer like squad is so you might find a lot more players around Squad.

 

Owning both I think Arma 3 is the superior game and platform. Squad however is a nice easy game to play in comparison so has a place but in a years time I'll be playing Arma 3 still every week but I doubt I'll be playing Squad.

It really depends on what type of game you want. I have about 500 hours on ArmA three and it does take a day or two to get use to. However once you are use to it, it's a great game.

ArmA 3 , more content, many huge maps, lots of mods and games, steam workshop, teamplay, altis life
