The key to starting out is quality over quantity. You may not be able to make much videos, but if they are quality ones, people will start watching them. You will have to balance this out once your channel goes big.

Another way is to make your audience a part of the video. This makes them feel that the video is also about them, not all about you. This gives a good connection between you and your viewers. A good way to do this is to find something that you and your viewers can relate to in your content.

Getting viewers is really hard though. Most of it will come when someone share the video and it goes viral so try to make that happen. The last thing you want to do is advertise your channel through commenting on a video of a famous channel. People will be deterred from your channel due to your bad practises.

Good Luck!

There are sooooo many gaming channels. You gotta do something unique, something that most of the other millions (literally) of gaming channels are doing. Don't copy someone else's style. As much as I hate to say it, I think clickbait titles actually work.  Don't respond to every comment, it makes you seem pretty desperate. If someone asks a question, try to answer it. I know I just said don't do what anyone else does, but if you must you could try to jump on the train early. Make videos about games that are about to get big. Stuff that wasn't very popular then suddenly pewdiepie does a video. People love whatever pewdiepie plays, for some reason.
