help with pc

immanueltja

Can you guys build me a 1100-1190 dollar gaming PC? I'm mainly gonna be playing CS:GO and Blacklight:Retribution, not much.. I'm probably thinking about overclocking but if it's not needed then I won't do it. I also need a 144hz monitor so that'll factor in the price as well. Thank you

BCLK overclock the CPU. Although I don't know if Intel has any way of blocking that in the future, since they asked ASRock to remove the function from their mobos. I don't think MSI has been affected (yet).

It'll still perform fine but it's essentially extra performance you're getting by OC'ing for free.

You need both to overclock.

So I suppose you have to decide now if you want to overclock or not.

Then lose the CPU cooler and try to get a cheaper H170, H110, B150 motherboard.

The B150 is more oriented for business use and the H110 is just a stripped down H170 with less features. The H170 offers more features which you can read about here: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/intel-100-series-chipsets,29993.html
