Hi, in the beginning of january i built my first PC. Multiple times it has freezed suddenly and played a buzzing sound through my headphones/speakers (Caused by the infinite playback of the last sound played?). No error message or anything. Hard reboot required. I'm wondering how to find out what the problem is, and how to fix it. Is it a hardware or software problem?

I have Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Are there any patterns in the freezing. I heard a few people say that with windows 10 they had had some weird issues with certain programs freezing when they tried to load it.

It seems like it has been completely random. Has happened while surfing the web, watching netflix, playing Fallout 4....

I haven't seen any pattern so far

With AMD GPU's that happens when you oc them and it's not stable, but you have an nvidia GPU and afaik nvidia GPU's only reset the driver

I have Win7 and an Ninvida GPU it does the same when I use an unstable overclock. remove any OC and see if that fixes the problem. Try reinstalling the GFX driver as well. It can also potentially be a bad PSU or the system throwing a Memory error. If the previous options dont fix the problem run memtest, and test the voltage on your PSU.

I will do the best I can to help in any way. However I am not all knowing and realize that I can be wrong.
