Windows 10 Upgrade from Bootcamp

Has anyone tried updating from windows 7/8.1 to windows 10 from bootcamp? I've just kept windows 8.1 and windows 7 because I was wary of problem occuring during the upgrade process. I've done it on 3 desktops, and all of them botched 1 way or another, ended up having to reintall.
