I don't know how I never noticed this

So apparently chrome on android has allowed developers to change the color of the address bar for their site since version 39. Version 39 came out in November 2014 and somehow I never noticed this. I only noticed it when it turned black on ars technica. For example here's the forum:56b39c09792c6_QuickMemo_2016-02-04-13-36

Yeah, I have noticed it maybe a week ago. I'm not sure but I visit certain site a lot and there was no such thing previously. Maybe it spread just now as webmasters didn't notice it either or what?

The only sites that I have found so far that use it is ars technica (black), here, tek syndicate (black) and android central (green). I also question why the LTT one isn't orange.

I never noticed! I know the updated YT app and some other Google apps change header colors to match (ex. A YT channel with Orange theme would get an orange nav bar)

Now w/e I use chrome I'm going to have to look at the address bar lol

Wait, LTT does do it?  Then why does it appear blue in your picture?  Shouldn't they make it black or grey or orange?

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

That's what I said! This needs to be orange.
